Description

BigDor is a rubber modifier for bitumen and asphalt. A uniquely developed technology that, by combining with recycled tire rubber, provides an 
enveloping structure. The closed cell system is resistant to moisture and vibration loads due to its high elasticity to deformation, which solves a 
number of specific problems associated with asphalt and: Capital costs, Environment, Health, Time spent on work, Duration of use.

Recycling involves old tires that do not decompose when lying in landfills, subsequently forming fires, which also makes it possible to recycle old 
asphalt.

We conducted a study of molecules “under the influence of heavy weight”, which in a microscope showed: a decrease in weight under load and a return 
to its original form after the disappearance of the same weight. Accordingly, this technology reduces the risk of cracks.

An interesting observation was also noted in terms of its impact on health: This technology reduces road noise by 3 dB, which for a person feels like 
twice as much! 
In everyday life, when laying asphalt, large amounts of VOC are released into the atmosphere, which pollutes the environment and exposes workers to 
the occupational disease of respiratory tract cancer. We were able to reduce the health impact of VOC emissions by 57%.

Tests were carried out as intended for hot and cold climates.

norms and regulations.
The testing process of the finished modifier lasted two years and cost more than 230 thousand euros.
